The Little Princess series contains four hundred
vocabulary words and is constructed of sixteen different types of series in
total. The Little Princess series presents stories that are not only enjoyable
but also useful in many ways. When I first encounter the book I wasn’t familiar
with it at all, maybe because it is from the UK and I’m only familiar with the
children books in the U.S., but I have grown to really enjoy each of the books.
On this project I have divided and categorized all of the vocabularies that are
presented on each page and organized them as they are shown in the book and many
of the words that are used in the everyday English life. In each page children
can use the device, Saypen, to listen to words of almost every picture by
clicking on the pictures that are presented. Using the device, Saypen, children
can have a read-through of the whole book, by page, or even by each sentence. I
honestly believe by using the device and going through the book, children will
have tremendous help not only with their listening skills but also with their
reading skills too. I wish it was this easy and convenient for me when I was
learning English as a child.
In the book, the characters are constructed of
Little Princess, her parents, pets, and other characters that live in the castle
with her, and her teddy bear, Gilbert. Each series of book has a different plot
points and situations the writer wanted the young readers to not only have fun
reading but also take some lessons with it as well. For example, the book titled
“I want my sledge” was one of my favorites. The book “I want my sledge” tells a
story of when the Little Princess was being greedy and unappreciated of the
sledge her father have built for her, and demanded to have a brand new sledge
just like the others. But later on she learns a lesson that not all new things
are better, and that even an old and small sledge has a purpose to serve. Like
the example of the book I gave, the Little Princess series holds great aspects
that can teach children vocabularies, reading skills, listening skills, and also
few lessons as they read the books. It’s humorous, relatable, and educational as
a whole and I hope many young readers will have the chance to experience the
Little Princess!

리틀프린세스는 저도 좋아하는 시리즈중 하나예요.^^
어른이 봐도 참 재미있고 ㅎㅎ
엄마들도 아이와 같이 세이펜 활용해서 영어 읽기와 듣기까지 복합적으로
쭉~~공부가 같이 될 수 있으면 좋을것 같네요.

리틀프린세스는 그림이 크고 글이 작아서 쉬운 그림책인줄 알았는데 막상 펄쳐보니 쉽지 않더군요.
기존의 공주상에서 벗어난 그리고 주변 인물도 너무 재미있어요.
세이펜을 활용할 수 있어 친구들이 좋아할 듯 싶어요.

규리가 너무나 재미있게 읽었던 리틀 프린세스..
세이펜기능이 탑재되어 더 쓰임이 좋겠어요..
세이펜 활용도가 높게 만들어져 넘 재미있게 공부할 수 있겠더라구요..
공부가 아닌 놀이로..
아이들이 너무나 좋아하겠어요..
스티커에도 세이펜기능이 있으니 신기했네요..
