평소에 언어는 문화이고, 표현이다 라고 생각하고 있었습니다.
또한 과학이나 지식에 대한 슥듭도 영어나 한국어 책에 관계없이 다양하게 접해주고 싶은 마음에,
Oxford의 Discover 시리즈의 교제체험에 당첨되었네요.
우선 제 아이는 용인에 있는 초등3학년에 재학중이고요,
책을 좋아해서 한글,영어책 구분하지 않고 다양한 분야를 접하고 있습니다.
이번에 이책을 보더니 너무 좋다고 하더군요.
제가 보기에도(비록 체험이므로 1권밖에 보지 못했지만..) 교통 발달에 대한 과거와 현재의 차이점,
그리고 그것을 바탕으로 앞으로 우리가 접할수 있는 미래에 대한 교통수단을 예측할 수 있는 것 등,
마치 한편의 다큐멘터리를 보는 것 같았습니다.
간결하지만 잘 정리된 분야별로 아이에게 전달할 수 있는 최선의 선택이 될 수 있을 것입니다.

Transportation helps us travel.
Before vehicles were invented, they used simple machines, such as wheels.
That was the first step of transportation.
Then vechiles were invented and people do on wheels.
Buses, trains, cars planes and lots more!
Soon, traveling was more easier than working.
We are still thinking about a lot more easier transportation.
Can it have wings? Can it do a quadruple back flip in the air?
Nobody knows.
If a new cechile is invented, I want to ride it if it isn't dangerous.
Things are speediong up these days and so are transportation.
Transportation is speeding up!
